Indore: ICICI Bank Ltd, India's largest private sector bank, today organised Coin Exchange Mela in at its Rajwada branch in Indore, Madhya Pradesh under the guidance of the Reserve Bank of India. The mela was organised to offer free facilities of exchanging currency notes with coins to the general public as well as provide fresh currency notes in exchange for soiled and mutilated ones. This is a much-awaited event that receives an overwhelming response from people from all walks of life. This event saw participation of over 200 customers, where the branch exchanged coins and currency notes worth Rs 1 lac comprising of coins of denomination Rs 5, Rs 2 and Re 1 and fresh notes of denomination Rs 50, Rs 20 and Rs 10. ICICI Bank has a network of 3,753 branches and 11,315 ATMs across the country as on March 31, 2014. It has 18 branches and over 70 ATMs across Indore, along with one Touch Banking branch, available round the clock.
